TaoTango 5-Level Curriculum

A progressive learning journey from foundational steps to advanced mastery. Choose your entry point and progress at your own pace.

⚑ Accelerated Program for Dancers: These timelines are designed for people with existing dance backgrounds and movement practices (yoga, tai chi, martial arts, etc.). Progression speed varies based on your background:

  • Movement experience (yoga, tai chi, etc.): Progress faster through each level
  • Dance experience (salsa, bachata, ballet): May move through levels more quickly
  • Completely new to dance: May spend 6-8 weeks on Level 1, or longer β€” that's perfectly normal and encouraged
  • Advanced dancers: Can accelerate or skip levels with instructor guidance
